I am the SharePoint Administrator @ Benaroya Research Institute

I have been the SharePoint Administrator at Benaroya Research Institute for five years. My responsibilities include management of the on-premises SharePoint 2013 environment, serving as the primary support staff member for content management, creation/development of SharePoint sites as well as on point for all SharePoint tickets.

I also serve as the primary support staff member for content management and development of SharePoint sites for an organization of approximately 350 employees.

Responsibilities

SharePoint Farm

My day-to-day responsibilities include management and maintenance of the SharePoint farm, from service application configuration, deployment of third party solutions, error log and timer job monitoring, to quarterly server patching.

SharePoint Technologies

My experience includes creation of custom web parts and solutions, development of forms and custom lists (InfoPath and Kintivo Forms), workflows to automate business processes, and display templates for search content results.

Web Design

My experience includes creation of new masterpages based upon organizational branding guidelines. Design aspects included HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Ability to use browser-based debugging and inspection tools.

Reporting

Responsibilities include support for existing SSRS reports and creation of new reports that utilize data queried from line of business systems and SharePoint lists.
